🚗 ECOGARD XC35491 Premium Cabin Air Filter for Toyota Corolla 2002-2008, Matrix 2003-2008 - Enhanced Filtration for Fresh & Clean Air Review

The cabin filter was of excellent build quality and fitted my 2007 Corolla perfectly. This is the second time I have used EcoGuard filters in my car and I am more than happy with their performance.

Replaced the cabin air filter in my 2003 Matrix with this. I already knew how to do this, but it's nice that they include instructions as well. Fits perfectly and seems to serve its purpose. This is good value for a simple repair that anyone can do.

This is a good quality filter that is easy to replace. Do it yourself and save $30 on merchant payment. The instructions are clear and all you need is a short Phillips screwdriver. The whole job took 10 minutes including cleaning the glove box of old gum wrappers and gas receipts!

Advertised as a cabin air filter for 2002 Toyota Corolla. It wasn't until I disassembled the glove box in my car that I discovered that the 2002 Corolla doesn't have a cabin air filter! The cabin filter appears to be from 2003. Someone needs to correct the dates on this filter. On the plus side I was able to get my money back.

It fits my 2004 Toyota Corolla perfectly. I decided to look for a cheaper brand close to Wix and luckily this is a brand that is very close. It's still made in China, but for the price you can't beat it. Hopefully it will last as long as the other filter but I'll post an update if anything changes. * Dirty filter in image - Wix.

After watching the tutorial video I installed it in about 5 minutes. Removing the glove box was the hardest part and even that took less than 2 minutes. Compared to what I would pay a mechanic for the same thing ($35 minimum), the savings were huge. The filter fits perfectly and I now know my car vents are blowing cleaner filtered air.

Update: 2019-06-02: The price still can't be lower! And it's amazing to see how gross it gets after a full year! Initial Review: Perfect for 2006 Toyota Corolla; It came with printed instructions which is very nice. I still can't believe the dealer wanted to charge me $42.95 to replace the cabin air filter! The exchange takes literally 1 minute. I also got a new filter for $7! What offer! Great product and packaging was well hidden.

Perfect for my 2005 Toyota Corolla. I changed both this filter and the motor filter myself and it was very easy. I found a YouTube video showing how to do this and to be honest it took me longer to review the video after the filter arrived (to make sure I remembered everything correctly from the first time I watched it), than changing the filter. I will definitely change the cabin filter more often. For less than $7 and how easy it was, I'll love knowing I'm getting cleaner (and more efficient)
