Other reviews complained about the smell and quality. There was a slight smell, but washing once helped. The fabric is quite light, which I like. Don't weigh the duvet down. The quality seems okay, especially considering the price. I somehow missed that this is a double sided blanket with deer on the other side. It's not my favorite but it goes well with my cabin decor. Looks very cute with a pair of decorative red and beige cushions. It was a worthwhile purchase!

As the name suggests, the patterns and colors are great. Red offers a nice effect, but remains subtle. The fabric is still quite stiff and exceptionally wrinkled after a wash - even having just come out of the dryer. The folds make the bed look neatly made. Wrinkles appear more visible on the checked side. Let's hope that the fabric (100% cotton) will soften over time and smooth out the creases more easily. I needed a set for winter and it fit. Red can be interpreted as rusty orange or cayenne pepper. However, with the right accents (pillows, curtains), you can make it look any color. My only complaint is that this is not a flannel blanket, more like a stiff cotton. I made up for this by purchasing the thick flannel sheets that come with the set and placing a Sherpa comforter between the comforter and the flannel sheet. for a REAL flannel blanket it is not.
