👖 Eddie Bauer Ladies' Polar Fleece-Lined Pants for Enhanced Comfort and Style Review

I live in New York, so I walk a lot in the streets. When the temp dropped into the single digits, I needed something warmer than jeans, so I bought them. I'm 5ft 6in, 155lbs and ordered a size 8. They fit perfectly! I liked it so much that I immediately ordered a second pair.

My first pair was grey, they were given to me. I've worn them all this winter so decided to order a pair of black ones when I saw them on sale for half the original price. They are warm and comfortable. The waist is large, so when ordering, be guided by the size of the hips.

Well I used the size chart and the number 8 was too big. So I ordered a pair in size 6 and they are too big. At the waist - fall. I use a belt to hold them. I'll try to move the knob to make it tighter. So I suggest going down 2 sizes as they run big. I was afraid to try on size 4 thinking it would be too tight. Hemmed size 8. It is necessary to hem size 6, but when I wear it with boots, the bottom is not dragged.

I bought these to wear in the winter. These are cool weather pants, not winter pants. I wore them over leggings in 28°F and my thighs were very cold. Pity! They probably fit 32°F+ Fit: I usually take a size 2 and have to take the waist into account. I'm 5'6" tall with a 30" inseam. They are narrower than usual at the hips and the waist is still loose. If I were to buy them again I might try a size 4 which fits my hips and I plan to make my waist much bigger. The length is ok.

I'm about to catch a cold and want to get dressed tonight. This is absolutely the wrong choice. I don't get overweight if my thighs rub a lot (no offense), but these pants are loud. They make a constant whistle as they walk. Loud enough for everyone to watch. This is only appropriate if you have ski boots on your feet and are going up a ski slope. These pants are perfect for cold days! The fleece on the inside keeps your feet warm right away, while the outer texture catches the wind, creating the perfect combination. I've bought other fleece lined pants and they were stiff and didn't fit well. They were more expensive and worth every penny more. I usually wear 4 or 6 pants and 4 was the right size for me. They have a small fit and are the best pants to stay warm in. Eddie Bauer was difficult to deal with. I returned my first size 6 order and was charged $5.30 for return shipping. Then I ordered both black and gray in size 4 and they sent me both pairs in black. It took about a month to finally get the correct size and pant I ordered. It would be easy after the first pair, but they are really great pants.

I love these fleece lined pants from Eddie Bauer and would wear them every winter if there were more colors. I've seen many, many, many other reviewers asking for the same thing. More flowers please! Eddie Bauer would make a lot more sales if they just offered these pants in a greater variety of colors (red, plum, blue, etc.).
