I've had 3 thermostats that blocked in a 1992 Firebird leaving me at the curb to pull them out. Finally going for the High Performance brand and so far it's been working like a charm for at least a few months.

I cannot view this part as it does not fit my application. The berry was on the outside of the thermostat spring housing and was in the way of my engine's thermostat housing. Therefore it will not sit straight. If the dingle berry was in it, it would probably work just fine.

The answer to the question said it came with a gasket. There was no imprint. I thought it was pretty cheap. Who replaces a thermostat without a gasket and why not turn it on? So I'm delaying my repair for a few days. In fact, for the premium price, you could add a fifty-cent pad. Cheap American America mocks people who are just trying to survive.
