Description of EDELRID Ultralight Hardshell Helmet Snow

EXCELLENT VENTILATION: This classic helmet provides superior ventilation with 26 vents to ensure a constant supply of fresh air, helping you stay comfortable on your next climbing adventure. TRUSTWORTHY EXPERIENCE: Our Company has 150 years of rope making and alpine equipment experience at your fingertips. Our years of hard work have rendered products that you can trust on your child's next climbing adventure. HYBRID HELMET DESIGN: Our Hybrid Helmets combine the benefits of both hard and soft shell helmets. The outer shell is robust, impact-resistant ABS, while the inner EPS (expanded Polystyrene) foam shell provides excellent shock absorption. This is a robust choice for an all-rounder helmet. SHOCK ABSORBING EPS: In the event of impact, the EPS (expanded Polystyrene) foam core absorbs energy, which progressively buckles upon impact. The outer polycarbonate shell protects the EPS core and helps spread impact energy throughout the entire helmet. ADJUSTABLE, OPTIMAL FIT: The Ultralight's design features a fully adjustable head strap and chinstrap for an optimal fit. It fits a head circumference of 54 - 60 cm (21.3 - 23.6 inches) and has detachable, washable headband made of synthetic leather.

Disappointed with climbing

When I bought the helmets they said they were new but when I received them they had production dates from 2-3 years ago. Not considered new to the inspector. Also, these two helmets were slightly different from each other and nothing was said in their advertisement.

Pros
  • Helmets
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
