I used it several times hoping they would work better. But now I'm done. They just don't stay, and sometimes mixing puppies scares me. I really wanted it to work. Such a good idea, but something needs to be improved.

This product was great when our puppies were born. As the puppies started to grow and the collars needed adjusting, it became difficult to resize them. But the main reason I am writing this rare review is that the collars were hard and cut into my pup's neck. Once we determined they had the same neck/shoulder cuts, we removed the collars. Remember, this can happen to your precious little pup too.

Should have listened to the reviews! They were only used on puppies during labour, and before 24 hours was up they cut through their shoulders, leaving open bloody wounds, lacerated necks and velcro abrasions. I think more serious action should be taken to ensure that this item in every list has warnings and cautions. I believe that if left for any length of time it will cause irreparable damage to a newborn puppy. Strongly disappointed.

Great for the price. It comes with a variety of colors, 12 in total, no repeating colors. They're soft, fully adjustable as it's all velcro (no buckles or anything), you can make them any size, and the velcro is relatively sticky/durable so they hold up well (i.e. don't just fall off on their own) . I will use them to identify the different puppies in our litter so I can keep track of their weight, height etc without getting confused who is who.

I think the old adage "what sounds too good to be true is probably too good to be true" applies to these collars as well. As breeders of Doberman pinscher puppies, we were looking for a simpler solution to standard puppy collars. They seemed easy enough. Velcro is a lot easier to put on and take off in our fast-growing boys and girls, but it's also a problem. It sticks to every blanket and dog bed in the kennel, peeling the pup off.
