These magnets are nowhere near strong enough to hold 2 layers of jacket fabric. The product image shows the magnets used in the coat so I was expecting them to be quite strong but they are not.

Attaching buttons has become more difficult with age. I removed the buttons from the dress and added these. If you want the metal to hide under the fabric and not show when you open it, don't use thick fabric. Otherwise, they stay in place like a click.

I like that the magnets are decent strength and hold a small amount of fabric together well. Durable transparent plastic is easy to sew. However, I recommend having a leather or denim needle as thin needles will bend.

I was hoping to use it as a hidden magnet in small wallets but the strength was disappointing. What they show in the picture doesn't have the power you get in a magnetic field. However, the company stood by its product and offered a full refund.

They are terrible. You are so weak! They are meant to be used in sewing projects but are not safe at all. The slightest movement separates them. I sewed them into each back with a layer of cotton fabric with a sp101 connection, quite thin. Buy something else if you want to keep them safe.
