Egoway Adapter Charger Microsoft Surface Review

I bought this a few months ago as a backup. I've used it about 3 times in total but now it's completely dead for no reason. Doesn't load at all. It didn't work when I needed it most. What a waste of time and money.

I've only had it a few days but it seems much better than the Microsoft OEM unit. The Microsoft-supplied charger glows like it's charging, but it's not. I had to constantly fiddle with the computer's charging interface to make sure it was actually charging.

The charger never worked properly with my Surface, it doesn't fit! To charge, the cable must be moved. The problem is not my fork, my pad is new. I only had it a month before I lost my power cord and ordered this replacement. Now I have to buy a new cable, I get too frustrated trying to wiggle and wiggle the cable to charge my surface.

I kept forgetting my cable in class so I was SOL without my charger when I got home to study. Bought it for my school bag and it does what it's supposed to do. The cable does not come out of the charging part like the original cable, but otherwise there is no difference. It works the same as the OEM cable. It even has a little indicator that lights up to let you know your Surface is charging.

Only lasted about 2 months before deciding to stop charging. This is the third Surface 3 charger I've received that has done this. But before that it worked smoothly and charged quickly. Update: I'm demoting this to 1 star because I didn't even realize I bought the same brand last year and it still only lasted about 3 months. I feel incredibly stupid for buying it again not too long ago but this brand doesn't seem to last long at all.

After my laptop gave up the ghost, I borrowed a Surface 3 for temporary use, but the original charging cable was lost. For about a week I used a regular USB cable out of the hundreds I had lying around. 3 was always showing as "plugged in but not charging" because the cable wasn't long enough to charge it well. I ordered this charger and it's amazing! The original looked exactly the same (which you can't buy in stores folks!) and not only is it perfect and charges fast, I got it delivered…

**Update: The charger is now useless unless the tablet is completely powered off, and even then it barely charges. I bought this less than 2 months ago after losing my original Microsoft charger for my Surface 3. It worked well and I liked that part of the connector was on the side of the case so the cable was pointing down. However, after 2 months of use, the cable stopped charging the tablet unless it was in a certain position, and even then it's doubtful it will charge. I can't tell you how…
