We have an apartment in Mexico that originally used 12v (50w each) light bulbs. Transformers kept burning out, electricity cost 33 cents per kilowatt and we wanted to switch to LEDs. They were perfect and now we use 3 watts per bulb and no transformers. In addition, this company offers excellent customer service. Leslie, one of their customer service reps, got in touch with us to make sure we weren't having any issues with the installation etc. Ordered two more sets after the first.

I was able to replace 3 small bulbs in the ceiling fan with 3 of these so the owner could use GU10 LED bulbs. Has been running for 3 months now with brighter and cooler backlight, no fan shake and no fires. It was a little frustrating that the sockets were covered in rivets and I had to join two different sized wires together, but with the help of solder and heat shrink tubing a strong and clean butt joint was achieved. I have an old vintage light; great design. However, the lamp he uses is no longer made and was a very bright "projector" style lamp. So I decided I needed to change the lamp type and its base to something more up to date. I have about 4 LED headlights that I use to light my cars in my shop (I bought a pack of 6).
