ELITRA Mountable Outdoor Cigarette Receptacle Review

Attached to a wooden telephone pole that was hit by a truck. Just lost some color, that's all. The attachment was so strong that part of the rod broke. Thus, it is definitely durable and the attachment is ruthless. Easy to clean - hang a plastic bag, open it and all the cigarette butts will fall out. I then fill it up with water, which I won't do as the review notes a rusty lock. Bought two for a small beachfront condo in Florida. Works well for us and have tried to buy two more - out of stock.

Glad I stumbled across this wall mount. Works as it should, easy to assemble, looks good and is the perfect size. We needed one in our warehouse. I'm tired of seeing cigarette butts here and there (including mine) and the 'tin can' is gross and stinks. I didn't want a big bulky standee as they are difficult to clean and seem to smoke a lot. A smelly ashtray! I can't get closer than 5 feet without smelling him. Very bad lock design and if you lose the "key" very bad for you! I turned it on low and filled it 1/3 full with baking soda. Maybe it will help with the stench? Maybe fewer holes, or at least smaller holes for fire extinguishers, would also help get rid of the smell?
