    I love this blanket.

    I made a baby blanket with a bear, otter, fox and deer. Everything was great. There is a editing error in the bear. When you cut out the background, one of the parts will be different from the one in the list. I had an extra so there were no problems.

    Well written, easy to follow.

    I love this pattern and plan to make at least 10 more blocks. The template is very well written and easy to follow. I started with a reindeer for my 13 year old granddaughter and made 24 inch pillows out of each block. I have three granddaughters from Alaska and one from Russia, so using the North Star pattern seemed appropriate.

    I don't consider this a beginner sewing pattern

    The pattern is cute but I don't like the direction of the cut because the background fabric is not the same for all blocks. Since most people expect to make four or eight blocks, it would be nice if all the pieces were identified the same way. For example, a piece of background fabric labeled "A" is the same size for all eight blocks. This saves a lot of time on the quilt. Another thing, I used the background fabric recommended on the pattern. Even after the first wash it was very stretchy. I…
