Love that it's so sheer and lightweight - great for those nights when you need very little to keep the chill out. I bought it because I'm a Lord of the Rings fan and it's one of a kind. I haven't decided yet whether to hang it on the wall or wear it! But whatever I decide, it will be cool!

Nice design. extravagant but reserved. Like a loosely tied scarf/tie, it doesn't open immediately. . I love it. As other reviews have said, it's a very muted sage on parchment green rather than the beige to brown of most cartographic robes, but that was part of the appeal for me. Exactly as shown; surprisingly soft - not prickly - wonderfully sheer and flowing; the lines of text and map are soft, not crystal clear due to the nature of the fabric, but clear enough to be read; You can hang it on the wall, but note that the fabric is translucent so you can see what's behind. I bought this item for a card, not a scarf. I was not disappointed. Being a translucent scarf, it gives the impression of a very old, fragile piece of parchment, which I think was the original intention. The text is clearly visible and all the highlights are fairly legible despite being printed on a very thin and light material.
