🌞 EltaMD SKINCARE Elements SPF Sunscreen Review

This is the first sunscreen I've ever tried and I love it, it's a luxury skincare product. Recommended for all skin types from dry to oily, as well as for people with sensitive skin. Feels hydrated, not greasy. It applies well and leaves no white residue despite being mineral. Only very dark and very pale skin tones may not seem a perfect match, but most will find it invisible. The finish is a healthy satin. Excellent UVA and UVB protection. Highly recommended.

I really liked this product. It left a visible white film on my face. My skin is dark brown. I hope that a skin protection product will accommodate a wider range of colors. But here, too, sunscreen should protect "light” skin. I hope this company starts offering a wider range of skin care products.

To be honest, I really like the product itself. I'm always trying different sunscreens, especially for the face. It's up there with the best of them. However, at $17 an ounce, it's ridiculously expensive. Ouch! The packaging is not good. Why did Elta MD put this product in a pump dispenser instead of a standard tube? This thing spits out product. It's on my mirror, my sink, my clothes. Every little spit is money down the drain. As much as I love the product myself, I won't be buying it again…

This is definitely not a moisturizer and the shade is too dark to wear alone on my fair skin (Mac NC 15). But it is a very good sunscreen. Works surprisingly well under makeup, especially for mineral sunscreen. This is the choice for those with sensitive skin who need reliable mineral sun protection and use cosmetics. If I were a little darker I would definitely wear it alone as the shade evens out my skin tone enough for a makeup free day. Highly recommended.

I'm a sunscreen freak but also a girl who loves tinted moisturizers. I wore it every day on a 6 day hike to Lake Shasta! I'm back with zero burns! It's hard to find a face sunscreen that doesn't dry out your skin. This Elta MD Elements is great! .and is waterproof (temporarily - like any sunscreen, needs to be reapplied every time you jump in the water). The color is a bit too dark for me. My holy grail so far! ordered physical SPF 41 and sent it back for me due to dryness and too light shade. Does this item work great? It absorbs quickly, dries and leaves a pleasant shine without leaving a white cast. I am Asian with medium skin tone. However, the tube is horribly constructed and it's difficult to get sunscreen out without making a mess. On the 2nd day the hose broke!
