I've been looking for such a blanket for a long time, came across it 3 weeks ago and ordered what I wanted. It's soft, not heavy and definitely not flimsy. It keeps me warm and doesn't overheat. My bed is a queen but due to the high tide I have a very high bed and we go up the stairs. So it's really good to order two more. The sky blue color I order matches its color. I love this blanket.

I'm generally picky, I want a specific texture and weight. Buying this without seeing it first was beyond my usual reach, but I'm so glad I did. I washed it with my favorite fabric softener and then dried it. He left exactly as he entered. I was afraid it might fall apart. I really like the size, I have a very thick mattress and most comforters don't have enough to cover the sides. It was just great. Perfect weight, super soft and comfortable!

Looks like a good blanket, good weight and all. I went to wash it before using it and there was enough lint in my washing machine to make a baby shirt. After the dryer, there was the most fluff I've ever seen! I'll wash them again to hopefully remove all the lint, but I'm not sure this comforter will last too long at this speed! crazy every time.

The royal blanket I bought was barely queen size after one wash. A wash and half of the duvet stayed in the dryer as large scraps of fabric that had just detached from the duvet. When I pulled the comforter out of the dryer and placed it on our queen bed (I buy king comforters for our queen bed), the comforter barely fell on either side of the mattress. It's almost a king size quilt. If you want a king size comforter that won't tear in the dryer, DO NOT BUY THIS!

This duvet is thick enough to keep me warm when I feel like a summer duvet from Ikea won't do. Yes, the result is excellent sleep quality, at least on first use. I bought two of these. Both washed at the laundromat. They washed for me so I don't know how much is spilled. I like thick, heavy, warm, not thin, but strong and durable looks. So much so that I searched the internet for Indian cotton blankets, how they are made and where the cotton comes from. Now it remains to see how they work from…

My husband is very sensitive about materials so he will only use this vintage cotton material blanket. We have 1 from this seller and 1 from another, both grey. He has goosebumps, if not "just cotton". Plus, these blankets look beautiful. This blanket was cheaper than the other seller, that was nice. Good old blanket!
