I bought the red/white version of this light and it works great. No matter it's day or night, I can turn on the light and catch the attention of passers-by. I would recommend buying this lamp. A few guys in my fire department have one and they're really impressed.

VERY BRIGHT! probably half a mile visibility in clear conditions! I've used the dash in both heavy rain and snowstorms and it outperforms many other lights I've seen. I'm a volunteer firefighter and my lights are brighter than most in my department. The only complaint is that it should have a mode where only one light blinks. To be honest I wasn't expecting much for this price. And it delivered. Flashes great. There are some very useful lightning patterns. Everything is plastic except for the bracket. The hood doesn't come up short on a hacksaw, so don't expect to use it without cuts on, say, the rear window of an SUV.
