Worked great good for bulbs

Only thing I would say is make sure you check the terminal markings as my old one was turned right to left. It was also a quick fix and ran on a heating and cooling system that was over 20 years old.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good

May Not Rheem 47-19807-04

Not a complete replacement for the Rheem 47-19807-04 series. The relay wiring is wrong. You can change the wire/pin setup so it probably works. I'm not as smart as I used to be and it's getting cold.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Small Parts

Get more years out of my old boiler.

There is a very old (but reliable) Vail McLane. The old transformer did its job for decades before it finally gave up the ghost. I connected it to the network, the pump to the high voltage relay and the aquastat / gas / boiler circuit to the low voltage bus. The old boiler works for $30, money well spent.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style
