Worked great! suitable for HVAC

Great thermocouple and great price. I used it to replace a water heater thermocouple in an RV. The pilot water heater turned on but did not burn when the ignition was turned on. I saw a video about this solution and ordered this universal thermocouple. After replacement, the control lamp and the flame of the water heater did not light up. Now I have hot water in my RV.

Not universal - it was my fault

It wasn't expensive so I ordered it. Proved unsuitable for the gas fireplace in our family room. I didn't find any information on gas use, that's my fault. I am only including this information so that others may know. This is probably for small appliances, definitely for uses other than gas fireplace inserts.

It's great to have a spare thermocouple on hand

Haven't used it yet but I can tell you - you should have a spare thermocouple on hand on this cold night The gas heater is cancelled, the service units are inundated with calls and all shops are closed! This is a quick replacement that requires minimal skill and hand tools and can get you started if your problem is related to a faulty thermocouple. Have one ready!
