I bought this when I was horrified to find out how much EMF my iPad is emitting. This carpet didn't help. The sensor on my tester was no different than the mat. Total waste. Also, the packaging was poorly designed so the pad was sticky due to the glue holding the envelope together.

This is disappointing. My computer is heating up and that blocked maybe half the heat. It was still uncomfortably warm on my lap and would have been good enough as a heater in winter, but that's not how it should be! I don't know if it's blocking EMF or what if it's letting in that much heat. Returned.

I used an EMF meter to check. It completely blocked all EMF "radiation" from my iPad Air. However, it didn't work well with my HP laptop, it seemed to block some transmissions but not all. Interestingly, however, another more expensive shield completely blocked my laptop, but did not completely block my iPad. So I kept both.

Does a pretty good job of reducing heat and bought for this and radiation protection so hopefully protects from radiation. I've noticed that I get uncomfortable on my knees when using it and leaning back a bit as it's thin and doesn't have padding on the non-blunt edges, so I still need to put some sort of pillow underneath.

Because the ipad air is overheating, I removed the gel that connected the ipad air and inside that said Safesleeve. Sometimes they touch. At other times they are separated. Where I connected the Brydge Bluetooth keyboard to the Safesleeve everything is fine. I feel safer. I can share anything, but I knew I would experiment and I'm generally happy with the result. When I charge my iPad, I take the elastic band off the iPad to keep it warm.
