This filter does absolutely nothing. I tested the filter in my shower and got the same results as tap water, horribly low pH and low alkali. The same exact values of pollution, trace elements and harmful elements. This filter does absolutely nothing. Don't waste money. To return.

I live in South Florida: hard, nasty, muddy water full of chlorine, chlorine, iron and all kinds of chemicals. Installation was easy. I only used a few turns of the included teflon tape, making sure it was wrapped in the direction I would be turning the filter. No leaks on first try. It seems well made, but only time will tell. So only four stars instead of five. The plastic is so durable. I also removed the screen in the shower head to create more water pressure.
