Nice but waterproof but not waterproof

This is a decent cover, no gasket between the base and the clear cover, just a tight lip that keeps moisture out. It's easy and hassle-free to install and comes with all the necessary hardware. The socket must be mounted vertically, otherwise moisture will seep in through the 2 large holes in the base where the wires of the plug pass.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Blank

Problem with heavy rain

The product is connected to an open wheelchair lift and works well except in heavy rain. It doesn't get water in, but I've had to go out and reinstall it several times after heavy rain. I don't know why that is, but at least it doesn't cause electrocution, sparks, or disconnecting the circuit. He just puts the chair down. I'll try to put it in a plastic bag next time it rains.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • damaged

Note. Retail Only Decorator

I didn't realize that it only stands for decorator (rectangular) output. But they seemed like good lids so switching outlets was better than going back as the price is way better than anything I can find in big box stores. It's a bit difficult to mount them horizontally under my eyes, but a vertical mount would probably be pretty smooth.

Pros
  • Elegant Design
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

The clip is too difficult to open.

The clip that keeps this box closed is very strong, but it is impossible for some arthritis sufferers to open it. You need to hold the clip and then just lift the top cover where the two bottom hinges connect for a latch. It would be better if the hinge on the transparent top cover was bigger than the hinge on the bottom for something to grab. It is difficult to explain, but suffice it to say that opening it is not easy.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • Update availability

Very nice best in outlet boxes

Very nice if I do say so, it looks very nice on my porch where I charge my phone. When installing, be sure to use a voltage tester at the outlet to avoid electrocuting yourself. I would suggest if you don't know what you are doing get an electrician to install it but it looks absolutely amazing and very heavy and looks like someone walked in and I paid them $300 to install it , when I did. it's all mine

Pros
  • Outlet boxes
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

all weather. Not quite

All weather at first, but soon you will need replacement seals. Also, I don't want the ground to always be open to the elements. I love that you have room to run your cables through, but bugs and dust are a big problem and cause internal components to wear out quickly. I made a homemade case to use the ones I bought as I hate sending things back. But for others looking for a suitable outdoor outlet, I'd buy something more weatherproof so you don't have to pay to replace it and your wiring after

Pros
  • Tools and household
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Place all cables in a box before attaching this cover.

have been removed as far as possible. in a box if possible. Installing this panel is much easier when there are no wires trying to pry the panel out of the box. The plastic is transparent so you can see the devices inside and there are 2 squares on the bottom where the cables can protrude. I have used them for WiFi switches to control pool lights and the case works fine. Whether it is UV-resistant and does not fog up remains to be seen.

Pros
  • Electrical boxes, wiring and fittings
Cons
  • Very expensive
