part garbage. Broken in half.

My husband spent hours taking the car apart only to break the part in half after putting the car back together. We had an oil leak so he took the car apart and found the part had broken in half. Garbage!

Good quality and great price

Direct connected sensor. Installation was a nightmare, very cramped, but I did it in less than an hour with a lot of help from YouTube. The price was great, I also bought a special socket for this sensor.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Compatible

worked 3 months.

I bought this oil sensor for my Cadillac Escalade. I installed in October 2019 and the pressures were within spec. Everything was great, running around 30psi when cold and dropping to 20psi when warm. Three months later, the sensor began to fail, indicating low oil pressure. I will replace it with an AC Delco part. The installation is very complicated and it is very frustrating to repeat.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Nothing here

Ideal pressure switch.

The oil pressure was great! The oil filter is also clogged. The new screen ordered from Dorman was an exact OEM replacement. The pressure sensor was great. Removed the plastic cover on the engine, found the oil pressure switch, put it over the engine, pulled the cable out of the pressure switch, got a 24mm socket and a wrench with a 6" swivel extension. Install in reverse order. The big print is back! PS Change or clean the oil strainer under the pressure switch!

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Expensive

Save $300 in labor and do it yourself

This was the perfect replacement for my 2010 Chevy Tahoe. Showed oil pressure 0 and the check engine light came on. The code showed it was an oil pressure sensor. I ordered this and it works great. Old sensor (beige) and screen in the picture on the left new sensor (black) and screen in the picture on the right I also recommend buying a socket. It is almost impossible to get this oil pressure sensor without removing the manifold. You can try, but it's easier if you just remove the intake…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Zero

Worked on my GMC Sierra 1500 Denali AWD 6.2L

(11/12/2019) The check engine light came on and the oil pressure gauge showed no oil pressure, but the engine ran fine (although I shut it off immediately when it happened) . The light came on and the oil pressure showed zero!) An OBD2 scan showed codes P0521 (engine oil pressure sensor operation) and P0523 (engine oil pressure sensor circuit high voltage). That gave me the certainty that it was just a sensor. I decided to try this part as it was significantly cheaper than the OEM GM part and…
