Attractive and solid, but the button is pressed hard

When first activated, the hands were spinning for a long time and it would have helped if the instructions warned me about this. We bought this for an elderly friend who is visually impaired and she found the little button that activates her voice required too much pressure for everyday use, although we'll leave that as a backup. It looks better than the cheaper variant with big buttons, so it might be a good choice for those with hefty fingers.

Pros
  • Clear and loud male voice. Alternative to Atomic Talking Watch, Braille Watch for the Blind, Large Face Watch for Women, Watch for the Visually Impaired, Watch for Women with Visual Impairment, Watch for the Elderly, English Watch, Watch for the Elderly and Watch for Women with Numerals.

worked fine but could not understand.

I bought this clock for a 93 year old woman with visual and hearing impairments. ... I could understand it, but with difficulty. Low volume and heavy accent. The lady I bought it for cried but no happy tears. She couldn't understand it at all, even putting it in her ear or hearing aid. I returned it to Revane and bought her a large numbered watch that made everything better. This time I got kisses instead of tears. I love happy endings.

Pros
  • Gen 2 Talking Clock with Time
Cons
  • No Insurance

Bought for my visually impaired mother and she finds the watch easy to use and understand. Two negatives: due to the way the speaker holes are placed, you may have to tilt the watch a bit to hear it (when the bracelet is pulled tight against the skin, the sound is very muffled, almost impossible). understand). Setting the date/time is difficult for an elderly visually impaired person - they will likely need assistance. Also, it's a very good watch if we talk about watches for talking ladies.

Pros
  • With VHAS technology for talking clocks. You always read and hear
Cons
  • at the same time. The list is getting long.

So far, so good! for hours

Bought for a blind mother. I kept it at home for about a week and tested it to make sure it shows the right time and keeps talking when the button is pressed. So far, so good. Don't bother with the male British accent. I used to have an Avalon talking watch that lasted about seven years and had a female voice with an American accent and was easier to understand, but I couldn't find a replacement online. There's a bit of static in the dynamics, but still clear enough to understand. My mum is…

Pros
  • Talking date-day and alarm clock
Cons
  • Easy maintainability
