Needs work: my feedback

When the item arrived, it was pretty clear that there were three pieces of wood that were routed separately and then all mounted together as a single unit. There were cracks in the seams that needed to be filled and pressed with wood glue. The handholds themselves needed to be sanded out. Nothing that made the item unreasonable to purchase, but don't expect to be able to use it right out of the package.

  • ‎unisex-adult
Cons
  • The price point may be too high for some users on a budget

Solid hangboard if you're willing to make minor adjustments

My biggest note on this hangboard is the quality of the edges: they are pretty sharp. When I first started using it, I was only able to realistically train on the biggest pockets (that means at least 10sec hang with correct form). Even then, the edges dug into my fingers and my training sessions left me sore out of pain rather than from the hangboarding itself. I ended up sanding the edges to be more rounded, and that made a huge difference. I am now able to train properly, and this board is…

  • ‎PVS6
Cons
  • The board may not provide enough resistance for experienced climbers

Smaller hang broke on me

I only weigh about 140, I didn’t have my full weight on it, and the smaller hang just broke out on my right hand. It may not be durable enough for frequent use or heavy weight-bearing activities!

Pros
  • ROUND CORNERS AND ANTI-SLIP SURFACE: smoothened and rounded sides below the jugs create comfort and avoid pain even when you remain in holding position for a long time. The surface inside of jugs and slopers is also designed specially to enhance grips.
Cons

Worked for 2 weeks on my review.

I've had this hang board installed for 2 weeks now, and it's already breaking. On the biggest finger holds, where the fingers press against the board, it is already starting to bend in and splinter the wood. I guess I'm a bigger guy (180lbs) but this product should be designed to hold my weight. I've been excited

Pros
  • QUICK AND EASY INSTALLATION: the product can be installed on many kinds of wall, stud wall or other walls with 16" wood stud to ensure safety and aesthetics. 4 screws for stud wall are also included for an easy setup.
Cons
  • The board may not be appropriate for use by children

So far so good. CAUTION! Get your own hardware!

I really like the variety of holds. There are two juggy holds on the upper corners and going inward you have 45 degree slopes and a central 35. The sanding is done well and any roughness is welcomes as I don't want a baby-smooth surface. For anyone looking for a cheaper alternative this could be one, only time will tell.NOTE! The screws that came with mine were all too short. Make sure your screws are long enough to protrude at least 3/4" - 1" into a solid base (not including drywall) and…

Pros

Cons
  • The board may not be functional for users with limited space in their home

Shallow grip broke on first use

The hang board looks good. The deep holes work ggod. The shallower holes are not strog enough thought. On my first attempt, ahold got broken, and I'm only 80kg. The top holds for chinups aren't rounded enough to make a comfortable grip. I'll have to sand them.

Pros
  • MULTIPLE GRIP POSITIONS: various jugs, slopers, mini crimps and pinch holds for a full-scale workout. The mini crimps have the shallowest depth for real climbing difficulty, while other jugs feature a mixture of depth and width for 1 to 4 fingers.
Cons
  • The weight limit may not be sufficient for some users

Need some sanding before use

Good value for the price. That's my review. Handholds are sharp and required some sanding to avoid injury and be comfortable to use.

Pros
  • UNIQUE DESIGN FOR EFFICIENT WORKOUTS: Yes4All grip training rock climbing equipment adds a phone storage at the top to track exercise time. The 2 pinch holds are detachable and when attached, users can choose their desired angle before tightening them.
Cons
  • The size and shape of the board may not be comfortable for all users

Badly made. for my opinion

Product came cracked and terribly finished. The plastic coating ruins the purpose of buying a wooden hangboard. Also it was made out of a softwood instead of a hardwood, it's not going to last.

Pros
  • It's very sturdy and had worked great for me. Recommend for anyone trying to strengthen their fingers.
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for climbers with smaller hands or limited grip strength

cant use it at all on my review.

Not well made. It has sharp handholds. If you try to hang on the hangboard it will dig into your fingers and be extremely painful. Get one that has rounded hand holds, and textured finish. They will work better for you.

Pros
  • ‎23.3 x 7.9 x 6 inches
Cons
  • The board may not provide enough variety in grip size for advanced climbers

Previous Issues have been fixed

Don’t let the reviews about rough edges discourage you. The new version is a good quality board with rounded edges on all of the holds.

Pros
  • The Yes4All wooden hang board comes with multiple grips and holds, allowing you to perform a variety of workouts and exercises to target different muscle groups
Cons
  • The board may not be suitable for users with certain medical conditions

Sharp edges for my opinion

If I didn’t have a router to make edges rounder, I would have returned this thing. Cheaply made, but looks fancy. The board may not be suitable for users with limited mobility or range of motion.

Pros
  • Perfect for climbers of all levels: Whether you're a beginner or an experienced climber, the Yes4All wooden hang board can help you improve your skills and reach new heights
Cons
  • The board may not be suitable for users with limited mobility or range of motion

Great quality for the price

I've used a few different hangboards over the years, mostly in the $100-$200 range. This one is just as solid as much more expensive boards and has an excellent diversity of holds. For quality at this price point, this hang board definitely deserves 5/5 stars. However a few caveats below:There could have been slightly more effort spent on sanding and finish -- probably 90% on point and smooth, but a few areas around holds were still protruding or uneven. The two bolt-on/adjustable pinch grip…

Pros

Cons

Missing items on my review.

I love the look of the board but I’m very sad it didn’t come with the screws needed to install the pegs on the board or the screws for the wall. I’m just gonna go to Home Depot and try and find the matching screw for the threads.

Pros
  • Very versatile board with pretty much everything you need in a hang board.
Cons
  • The wooden material may not hold up well in humid or wet environments

Great hang board! What an amazing workout.

I’ve used this every day since I bought it. New to anything climbing. What a great workout. Working my way up to the shallow finger locations. Nice job!

Pros

Cons
  • The board may not be effective in improving grip strength for all users

Mix between beast maker 1000 & 2000

4 stars for what it is - a wooden hang board that is almost identical to the iconic beast maker 1000.The bottom row of board is similar to the beast maker 2000 - they are basically quarter-pad finger holds. Very very small. But the top of the board is almost identical to the beast maker 1000 with the slopes and jugs. So it essentially combines the two.I used the screws provided with the package, and they seemed to work fine.Other reviews are right though, the edges are a tad sharp.Overall it…

Pros
  • Made of high-quality hardwood, this hang board is built to last. Its strong and sturdy construction ensures that it can withstand years of heavy use
Cons
  • The board may not be suitable for users with allergies to wood products

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value good for me

I like the quality for the price paid. Perfect copy of more expensive brands. Great for beginners to intermediate climbers.

Pros
  • Climbing Holds
Cons
  • The board may not be suitable for outdoor use

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor product on my review.

You get what you pay for, not worth the money, holds are all similar in depth and not well finished. Poor product, just spend the money and buy one of higher quality.

Pros
  • Climbing
Cons
  • The installation may damage door frames or walls

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Functional (I hope) but ugly

Pretty good sized crack that's been glued together through the right side of the board. Will probably be ok if I'm careful with the way I mount it, but for a wooden product this one should have been pitched instead of sent out.

Pros
  • Not bad, kinda small but good if it’s in your house.
Cons
  • Extremely painful. Cheap product with sharp edges. Save yourself time and buy a beastmaker. Much Regret

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not even worthy to be firewood

Buyer beware. Cheap junk. If you spent a few hours sanding and refinishing this it might get two stars. This is cheap pine with a terrible lacquer job and the holes are very rough to the touch and oddly off center.

Pros
  • Works well. Just wished don't slots were smaller. No issues otherwise.
Cons
  • waste of money

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Extremely sharp holds makes it unbearable to hang on to.

You get what you pay for. Cheap price for cheap construction. The holds are unbearable to use because they are extremely sharp. I can barely hold on to any of the holds without it digging into my skin and leaving bruises. To fix, you would need to individually sand each hold to have a rounder edge. Ultimately, just save up more money and get a Beastmaker. Much better investment long term in my opinion.

Pros
  • Boosts hand and finger strength: The Yes4All wooden hang board is specifically designed to help enhance your grip and climbing skills. Its unique shape and construction make it an ideal tool to improve your finger and hand strength
Cons
  • The installation process may require additional tools or resources
