It is actually embroidered unlike many of the other ascots here; The fabric is dense and structured so it doesn't slip easily. My only complaint is that it's short. Like, very briefly. I practically have to have a tag on the front of my neck to tie it with the right tolerance in the front and I only have a 17" neck. Other than that, it's pretty cute. Decent quality, looks very good. I decided to order this as a joke first to take to law school. Well come and find out, the ascot looked good! I've gotten compliments on it and people are asking me when I'll wear it again. It sits well on the neck, much more comfortable than a modern tie. The paisley pattern is beautiful.
