State Fair Qualifier

My son built this rocket for the 4H project. He was elected Deputy State Fair. It has great details and the finished product looked amazing!

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons

Great Park Flyer Scale Rocket

This is a great rocket if you want to fly rockets in a park where there is not much space. All decals resemble those of a large interceptor on a smaller scale.

Pros
  • Great for a Small Home
Cons
  • Some Difficulty

It flies just as good as it looks.

Waited over 30 years to finally get another interceptor. The original crashed due to engine failure. I was about to show it but I suspect it will fly soon.

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Expandable

Classic design from the 70s Estes.

It wasn't a teenager in the 70's. I just got back into rocket science and the Interceptor was my first and best choice. Not too difficult, but requires some patience, especially with decals. She is a beauty.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Repair

My first rocket I built.

I remember when I was a child (14) and I built this model in anticipation of the launch of my very first rocket. That is hard. Definitely not a newbie. I didn't have any special tools to keep the fins level. I just used my common sense and many patients. Boy was it a blast! He flew so high. At least for me it was. Wow.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Some little things

The classic rocket model has finally been relaunched

The last time this particular rocket model was available it was in a stripped down version. I missed the one with the fancy rocket pods on the sides. When Estes _finally_ re-released the original version, I caught one while I had the chance. Very happy I finally got it. Ironically I built it in 1/72 scale (for my Zoids :) and not as a flying rocket. My flying rockets will sooner or later crash into something unrelenting and repairing them becomes impossible. I wanted to show and play that.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some problems
