🔧 BOOTOP EU2000i Carburetor - Genuine Replacement Part - Compatible for Honda EU2000i, EB2000i, EU2000iK1, BF30E B/D/E - 16100-Z0D-D03, 16100-Z0D-D01 Review

I broke part of the float in the original Honda carburetor so I ordered this one. The wire connector is not compatible with the Honda alternator wire harness so I reused the original electronic throttle body. Installation was easy and the generator is working great again.

The only problem is that the carburetor engine connector is not compatible with the Honda connector. The wire color codes do not match the Honda wires and it is anyone's guess as to how to connect the new wires to the old connector. It was easier for me to restore the old carburetor.

Be very careful as the Eco Throttle connector will not fit my Honda EU2000i Generator. At the factory, you can remove the plug from the top of the carburetor. This is hardwired and the connector will not connect to the Honda connector on the other end.

Perfection! Don't be fooled by reviewers who couldn't figure out (or were annoyed that it took them an extra 5 minutes) to swap out the factory choke motor for a new carb - if that's too difficult, buy an OEM Honda . Part and pay over 100€ for it. I've neglected my 2003 eu2000i for a long time and the original carburettor was damaged by moisture in the fuel so I bought this hoping it would help and it was perfect - literally lit on the first puff!

Opening the box I found a small gasket (for the front of the carburetor), it was folded in half. Expand and you have two separate parts. Luckily the old gasket was in good condition and I was able to reuse it. As with other comments, the connector/wiring for the Electronic Throttle Controller does not match the existing connector at the end of the panel.
