I battle eczema all year round so this is the perfect moisturizer for dry skin. No fragrance, therefore ideal for applying on top of the serum. The lotion absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves no greasy shine.

I use a cream for dry skin. I have used 3 Eucerin containers and I love them. I used to have so much oil on my face after lotion. I had pimples and blackheads on my chin, forehead and even cheeks. I've only been using Eucerin Co-Q-10 for 15 years. I love this version! So I figured adding retinol would be good to use before bed. I have no doubt that it is effective, but the addition of retinol makes this cream completely different. It doesn't soothe or moisturize and actually dries out the skin and I have to use it a lot more often. I love this night cream. I've been in the skincare industry for over ten years and for the last five years I've just had frustration with finding moisturizers that work for me and don't irritate my sensitive skin. I like this brand in general and this particular cream feels great on the skin. However, it has a slight but very unpleasant chemical odor that appears toxic. Like plastic or glue. Something that doesn't go well with makeup. Not the first time I buy cosmetics with a strange smell on this site. Maybe some bad batches are sold online. Who knows. I just don't feel comfortable using the cream because I don't know if it's safe. I would like to ask the manufacturer to comment on the smell.
