I'm still not sure if it's merino?

Compared to my experience with SmartWool Merino, it is a little scratchy. Is it as bad as that sweater that needs a collared shirt to keep it from chafing your neck? no It feels pretty soft and smooth, but it doesn't look Angora at all, my forehead itches from wearing it for a long time. It's cheap but you get what you pay for. Nice hat, but not great

No merino wool. for men

The advertising is misleading. According to the ad, the hat is made of 100% merino wool. According to the label it is 100% wool. Wool and merino wool are not the same. It feels like a good hat but I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was regular wool.
