Really nice porcelain. Arrived safely packaged and fully recyclable. The colors are deep and vibrant and blend well with each other and in mixed sets. Although the colors are reminiscent of summer, they create such a burst of joy that I'll keep them on my desk every day until Thanksgiving. Beautiful porcelain set. I wish there were more serving accessories but for now I'm only really happy with the utensils.

The colors are not at all like the picture - the bowls I received were very pale, faded. If this is "hand-painted" then whoever painted my plates was drunk at the time. One of the medallion's central decorations was actually far left of center, and the painted edge was very sloppy and random. A plate arrived chipped and the icing was very cheap and carelessly applied. I didn't expect that for the price paid. This "ceramic" contains NOTHING "Euro". This is garbage from China. There are no complaints about this set. It is a practical multi-purpose device. My husband loves it for his soup plates. My son loves rice curry and creamy noodles or noodle soup. I basically only have one excuse to eat something out of this bowl. It is basically a leak protection for children. My son always leaves a food trail behind after eating.
