Bought this for my daughter who is studying in the UK. It works as expected. Her main electronics are a smartphone and a laptop, so she didn't need a converter. This will serve her well when visiting other locations in Europe as it comes with other types of adapters and is relatively compact for the connections it allows.

This worked VERY well. We have just returned from 10 days in Portugal and it came in really handy as it could charge two phones and an extra US plug to charge another phone or whatever. I used this product on my trip to Spain last week - absolutely no problem. I used the Type C plug mainly in Madrid, Seville, Granada and Barcelona. No complaints about this fork - works as advertised. Just keep in mind that you need an adapter that can support an alternative voltage range (I assume working adapters say 110-240V or something?). hard to pull out unless you have a strong grip as part of your hand/fingers also has to hold the slide lock that locks it in place while another part…

I chose this adapter over others because it allows you to change plugs with a single base. Since travel to Europe involves stops in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Italy and possibly other locations, it was important to have an adapter that would work in each of these countries.
