This is my new favorite tripod for my action cameras! BuildExpandableGreat price. Disadvantages: none. I will update if something breaks easily, but the quality is great, I carry this with me everywhere.

Great little pen. Very easy to carry. The only downside is a slight audio reverberation picked up by the camera when you turn the knob to switch from outside view to selfie mode. I found a little way around this by putting a rubber band around the handle to hold the three pieces tight to avoid a little rumble.

My biggest complaint is the camera locking mechanism. This is a snap type for adjusting the camera angle. I would prefer a screw lock. Even when it's locked, you can accidentally press the camera and it will move. There's no way to shut him up. This is just my opinion but it may work for others. Just not for me.

I use it for my action cam all the time and it works well. It's small enough to fit in a bag with a camera attached for quick access. The expandable option is convenient for taking selfies while riding or walking. The tripod is ok, but the legs feel a little wobbly. I haven't had any problems, but I try to be careful when using it as a tripod.

I was looking for something small and lightweight to attach the DJI Osmo Action to. I had to increase the distance a bit to get a wider shot. I had some trouble attaching the camera to the base of the selfie stick. It's not always straight. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. All in all a nice little accessory. I still use it, although it's not always straight.

I had the "monopod" selfie stick that came with my Go Pro and it was so bad it banged my camera on some of my shots was turned upside down. This ULANZI is great! It's compact, sturdy, extends just enough to be useful and doesn't rotate on me, the fold-out tripod is sturdy and gives a really good grip when closed. The product is worth its money - there is no doubt about that. great product

Excellent value for money product. I would say people should consider this as an alternative to the GoPro Shorty. Its dimensions make it easy to transport and use. Quite solidly built and the rubber soles on the tripod make it easy to set up even on slippery surfaces. My only issue was that the 3 speed shaft was quite tight when received and made it difficult to lift. I'm not sure if it will loosen up over time or if it needs any kind of lubrication.

I am very happy with this little selfie stick. I was looking for something similar and am very glad I found it. I use it probably 85% of the time I use my GoPro, it works great for almost everything. I don't use it for selfies but having big hands holding a GoPro is a bit tricky, a lot of fingers get stuck in my shots which I don't want, that fixes it completely.
