This cable suits me, but it can be dangerous in incompetent hands. The female end is polarized and the male end is unpolarized. If the female end is polarized, the male end must be polarized. With this cable, anything you connect to it has a 50/50 chance of being reversed. This is a shock and a fire hazard. Thankfully, it doesn't matter what I use it for.

I needed about a foot and a half of extension cords for my Christmas decorations. I ordered it, works great. Perhaps a longer cable would have worked just as well, but this one fits.

I use them to connect strand to strand between bushes so you don't see that little bridge of lights running between each bush. Just a nicer look. I just sat down to order more.

I bought 5 weatherproof 6ft models. They're quite expensive, but you can't find quality outdoor extension cords running between Christmas lights anywhere. These worked great. I wish they would offer more sizes in weatherproof outdoor style. I had to join two cords together to get the extra length I needed. No need to worry about clipping the pins or cutting off the ground pin or using old non-polarized indoor extension cords in inclement weather. I will probably buy more next season. Thank you!

First I received a cord that included both outlets were the same size, which is an old-fashioned style that doesn't work with modern plugs. I gave the cable a 1 star rating and described the cable I received. The seller contacted me immediately, refunded the money and sent me a regular cable with one of the slots larger than the other, which is what a modern cable looks like. I am now completely satisfied. The quality of these cords is excellent.
