This thing has made my shoe and boot life absolutely wonderful! I have to change shoes a lot throughout the day. It's nice to now not even have to bend down to slip on my shoes or boots. I even use this to pull my shoes over to me from against the wall before using it to slip my foot into them.And I don't know how anyone else has complained about managing to bend this thick steel; but they obviously have some common sense failures somewhere. Mine is rigged as heck, I'd have to work pretty hard…

Okay, no joke. The photos are of the packaging that it came in.Can we calm down with the excess, superfluous packaging already? I mean, seriously.So, I deducted One Star for that.As for the shoehorn itself; it’s great!Five Stars for the item, "Minus One” for the comically large box it was shipped it. (I’m still breaking down the "sealed air” bags that came with it.)

So it bends. And you can bend it back. The plastic ones often flex a little and crack sometimes. But I assumed that it being steel it would resist and hold firm against the pressures of my heel. I'm still happy that I have it, but it is a soft steel that may or may not get the job done from time to time.But, I would buy it again knowing this information.

This is a very durable shoe tool and at 31 inches in length, it is perfect for me. At 57 years of age, I am not as flexible as I use to be this shoe horn is just what I needed. I hope this helps if you are considering purchasing one of these.

I got this for my son who doesn’t have mobility in his right arm to aid him in closing his car door.It’s a little long but he is able to manage.

This is a great product! It's strong enough not to bend, unlike many we've tried. I love that it's long enough you don't have to bend over to put your shoes on.

Very easy to put on shoes, after back surgery. The hook at the top is convenient to put it over a table or a chair or something. If you use it as a shoehorn for normal shoes, no way you would bend this. If you give it to a child to abuse, they could easily break it. I don’t know about really tight boots, as one of the reviewers complained, but I doubt you would break this thing if you use common sense.

I bought this for my 85 year old father. My dad couldn't use a conventional shoe horn and even fashioned a home-made one out of a broom stick. That turned out to be dangerous. This product met all of his needs and he just can't stop thanking me for it. If anyone has a family member with difficulty putting of shoes.this is just the thing.
