Thinner than I expected. It's reasonably priced, so you probably get what you pay for. It's fine for the occasional light hit at low speed, but if you want something powerful I'd go elsewhere.

These dock pads are exactly the same as the $100 pads except they are 2 inches thinner. We don't have an ocean liner, so 4 inches is enough for our boat. I highly recommend.

High quality, durable PVC cover. They seem to be able to take light hits with enough power, as well as heavy hits without taking damage. They are very durable and well made. I bought these to hang on my garage wall to protect the car doors when opened.

Bought a corner boat bumper and end of the year. Installed, it was perfect. I saw that I needed another one, but it wasn't available due to seasonality. Ordered it again and it was smaller and not as wide. I will try to return this one and order a size up.

This looks exactly how I wanted it when I opened the package and they were well made. They were inexpensive and easy to install. A rough hit on a fishing boat lapping ripped a seam and ripped the bushings out of the vinyl. I wanted to like those dock bumpers but I don't think they will hold up in the real world.

UPDATED: VERY DISAPPOINTED NOW. NO RESPONSE FROM MANUFACTURER OR AMAZON. DO NOT BUY. I like the idea of the product but it started cracking after a few uses. I'm trying to send it back but can't send it in time as it's in my country house. Can the supplier or Revain extend the refund period? I bought two of these plus the corner. These two broke. See photos. Used about a month. freshwater lake.

This bumper is designed to gently hit kayaks and inner tubes to keep kids from banging their heads on the dock. If you're looking for a dock bumper that's built to take serious knocks from any adult boat, buy a laminated or molded rubber bumper, many of which can be found at Revain for under $20 (new and used ) are available. Buy the right tool for the job and this one looks more like a "baby bumper" than a boat trailer bumper (Extreme Max is fun for this product).
