Easy Installation: Computer Accessories and Peripherals

This device connects directly to the connector and fits perfectly into a standard 5.25" drive bay. It has the latest USB ports on the front, along with some charging ports.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Great little product

Very nice extension interface. Works as expected, no surprises. I liked the look of the brushed aluminum, although I'm not sure if it's metal or "good" plastic.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Something different

It just works: computer accessories and peripherals

Charges my Samsung phone with fast charge and has USB 3.0 speed on other ports. If you don't need front sound, this is the only panel you need. Requires only a USB 3.0 port on the motherboard and a SATA power cable.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • weak

Nice metal plate, not too complicated, does what it's supposed to do

Build quality is good. The black metal goes well with the case. You will need a spare SATA power cable from your power supply or a Molex to SATA adapter for power. Unlike some media bay inserts, this one only has two cables: one for the USB 3.0 port on your mobile device, and a SATA cable for power. I would recommend adjusting the plate before tightening it.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Works (more or less)

Pros: Great value for money Front panel QC hub, easy to install, does the job Cons: First USB 3.0 port in my example ( blue). does not work at all, there is no power and no data. The rest works great and worked the first time. I gave it a 2/5 because it should be fully functional, but I have no interest in the hassle of removing it, putting it back and looking for something else. Buyer Warning.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great solution for data/charging and space problems!

Used this to build an HTPC where I was low on internal hard drive space. Great USB extension and fast charging ports are pretty darn handy. The USB-C port is just for basic USB charging, but since it also connects to a PC for data transfer, that can be forgiven given the QC connectors. I highly recommend buying them while they last. Double check your motherboard ports as mine gave me bad info on the newer and smaller 3.1 connection when it had 2 3.0 ports.

Pros
  • Consistent test results

Decent enough; meets the need

The general build quality is decent. Not too impressed with how the USB cable connects to the back of this unit, though. It doesn't look like it's seated properly, but the connection is covered in a fragile adhesive so you can't reconnect without chipping that adhesive (which I didn't want to do for fear of voiding my warranty). It appears the 19 pin connection uses (2) separate USB channels on your card or motherboard port (leftmost port on one channel and (3) right port on the other channel).

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Good workmanship, works as it should

This refers to either the product ED-UB-IN54-12C or ED-UB-IN54-10C depending on whether you read the accompanying literature or the web EasyDIY site believes . Well-designed and one of the best-equipped USB panels for 5.25" half-height bays. If you don't have a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, add one to get: 3.0) Type-A ports, one Type-C port, and a pair of QC3.0 fast-charge ports on the front of the device. Black brushed aluminum (yes, real metal, but not plastic) that goes well with the black metal…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Vulgarity
