Fumoto always offers

I've been using Fumoto valves for 20 years. Wouldn't own a car without installing it. Fumoto makes oil changes simple and easy.

Pros
  • a nice thing
Cons
  • Useless features

Essential for do-it-yourself oil changes.

If you change your oil yourself you really need one of these on every car. I have 6 installed on my cars and tractors. They always work perfectly and never leak. A big plus is that they are made in Japan.

Pros
  • Long Life Trim
Cons
  • old

It works! Electric

Very easy installation. Easy to open and close, but has a safety spring that prevents the valve from opening on its own. Ball valves have been around for a long time. Someone used his head and got to the oil drain valve. Genius 👍

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Working speed

Love it!: Electric

Installed this Fumoto F-133 on a 2006 Pontiac Vibe. Fits well. I love these oil drain valves and have one of these on my Subaru. Just be careful it doesn't stick far below the oil pan or you could snap it off if you hit something on the road.

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Roughness

Excellent easy modifications

So far so good. Easy to install, just replace the drain nut. The ball valve is easy to use and snaps into place with or without a plastic mount. About 1/8-1/4" taller than my factory drain plug and it still sits behind the crossbar, free of debris or soil. Overall great price and ease of use.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Very expensive

I want to love him but.

Functionally a great idea, but not very practical. I have a 7.3 liter diesel, I put in one of these and drained half the oil in an hour. I ended up plugging the native connector back in and unplugging that one. Great idea, the shape, fit and finish are great. After 5 months of driving in the city and on the highway, not a drop of oil has escaped. I want to love it but I just can't spend a whole day changing oil.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Nothing here

It's worth it! best in parts

I have installed this valve on all my cars to date. I bought five of these, one for my previous Subaru, one for my wife's Honda and most recently for my new Rav4. One tip is to not use the crappy blue puck they offer. If you're wondering how long they last, I've had one on my Subaru for over 5 years and 60,000 miles.

Pros
  • Eliminates stripped threads and frozen plugs
Cons
  • Unsafe

What a brilliant product for lighting and electronics

It's so easy to install. Once installed, you never have to remove the drain plug again. There is a lever you just have to slide to open the valve and oil will flow out. Once you close the valve it has a strong little plastic cap that slides over the lever to lock it in place. This is a must have for anyone doing their own oil change. I discovered this product in a YouTube video

Pros
  • M12-1. 25 Lever Clamp Release Valve LC-10 Kit
Cons
  • Doubtful

Works great on my 2020 Corolla Hatchback

Very quick and easy to install! Installed on my brand new 2020 Toyota Corolla Hatchback and it works great! Quick tip: MAKE SURE THE VALVE IS IN THE CLOSED POSITION when installing the valve. I didn't double check and when I took off the jack and lowered the car. I started adding oil just as I was about to fill the entire 5 liter bottle, my buddy told me I was "running out" and I thought he was joking but no. I put the valve in the "open" position and didn't double check it so all the oil came…

Pros
  • Larger body with 60% more oil drain for quicker oil changes
Cons
  • Can't remember
