Good, but the plastic tears off easily at the corners

The album is normal. It has a strong chemical smell which doesn't usually bother me when others mention it in reviews but this one is really strong and it almost gave me a headache at first. Now that it's aired a bit, it's a lot more bearable. My big problem is that the plastic comes off the paper easily. It's hard to fill an album and rearrange photos without ripping the plastic off the pages, and I've tried to be gentle with it. It will do for now.

I have ordered 5 in the last five years.

I find these photo albums very valuable. The price is certainly reasonable and the product will last for hundreds. There's no plastic to stick to photos, and the slots hold 4x6 photos fairly well. It's true that a few slots can break if you're not careful, but if you're careful it rarely happens. For complaints about chemical odors, I would advise removing the odor-causing plastic. Finally, Revain doesn't present the product in a plastic sleeve and I find canvas album covers much more…

Very nice photo album

I like this album very much. It can contain many 5X7 images. Looks like very good quality. Some people have said that it has a strong odor right out of the box. I have a very keen sense of smell, but the slight odor comes from the plastic lid. I just wiped it down with a damp cloth, wrung it out and the smell was gone. Then I dried it with a paper towel. It is recommended to leave the plastic sleeve on to keep the album material clean. The only thing I didn't like is that of the two sections…

NO Pockets

I had to return the product. To be honest I actually bought it to store and display postcards with a little embellishment. They are only slightly heavier than photos, however, and literally any other photo album I own would work well for this purpose, as long as the pockets are large enough. That's not the case with the Pioneer album: what you actually get is a large, full-page open sleeve, with literally about 1 inch of divider to separate the two photos that would fit on the page. It doesn't…

Functional, pleasant colors - little space for signatures

We took LOTS of photos of our first child, so we bought several Pioneer photo albums. They are very sweet. The colors are vibrant, the binding is fairly strong, and the pages turn easily. One of the side benefits of buying is that you can see how many photos you are taking/printing and this can help keep things under control. a little. Realizing we had a bookshelf filled and we weren't even in our freshman year, slowing down was a good visual reminder. Our only real complaint is that the photos
