I like that it is held by grommets. I wear this extremely durable belt to work every day. I was looking for something similar and couldn't find it commercially. It's been over a year and this belt is still holding up. Quality leather ages beautifully and has a unique character. The older he gets, the more I like him! I will be buying 3 more pieces: 2 for the dress and another for work.

The belt and buckle look stylish, the packaging is nice. Revain said the leather is genuine, but the box says the belt is genuine in two places. Does this mean the grade is real [grades are full grain, top grain, then real grain] or just real leather? The seller should clarify that. All of these perforations weaken the integrity of the strap. So let's hope it's whole grain, the strongest and most durable.

When I unpacked it it was in a great color and with a very nice buckle but there was nothing to do about all the creases on the right side of the leather. It looked like the paint wasn't quite dry when they rolled it up. I even tried leather conditioner to soften the wrinkles but nothing changed. I ended up using it for a leather project and letting the creases become part of the design factor. I did not have enough time to complete the art project and was unable to return it.

When I received the package, I was amazed at the packaging. It comes in a beautiful hard case and the strap is in a velvet pouch, the leather on the strap is beautiful! I bought a gray one to match a pair of shoes and it was just right. I will be buying and giving away more of these belts. Only the packaging itself is more expensive than the belt. The white belt is not the same as the photo on the product pages, in fact it is a strange pale almost mint color. As someone with access to many white belts, I can show you exactly what I mean. I really liked the belt, it comes in a small velvet pouch which is very nice to the touch. The overall feel of the belt is good, it's heavy, the buckle is good, I like the belt. The problem is that after a few weeks, at least for me, the "black" started peeling off the skin. Behind the buckle.
