This is a gift for a mature 12 year old girl. It was her birthstone. She couldn't wait to put it on, she loved it. This is a VERY sweet treat. I thought it was a little pricey but the pleasure it gave her was worth it.

Nice but too small! I also ordered emerald (dark green) and received the wrong color in the first place. To be honest I didn't like it after trying it on and it wasn't as nice as it initially looked in the photos. I don't think it's worth the money and the quality seems a bit cheaper. I ended up giving it to someone else. I hope you liked it.

The size and clarity of the ruby is really good. The weight and details of the chain and the quality of the clasp are strong enough to minimize the risk of breakage. Especially for my 10 year old.
