Not for me. - Lighting

Too bright. Directly towards your face depending on the position of the charging socket. Cheap. Effective when properly blocked or darkened. I sent mine back, couldn't use it.

Very bright - saves me some money

The power light on my desk is off. I estimated a new one - it cost $50! Since my monitor isn't normally connected to this computer, it's hard to tell if it's on. This little LED lets me know.

Off for 2.1A port

My only problem is that it doesn't always stay on on my 2.1A USB ports. I wanted it in my center console so I could see everything can turn on the light in the car without turning it on, but it doesn't always stay on. It remains enabled in the USB ports on the center console. I can return if it worries me too much.

If you need it, it technically works. But why?

The overall brightness of these LEDs is so stunning that I can't even remotely understand why I would waste a USB port on my computer or car to install one. It cannot function as a standalone night light and will not improve low light conditions in a car interior, and your laptop screen will drown out that light, rendering it unusable for almost every application imaginable. Great price and it really shines.

Works well in my car's interior to subtly illuminate the inside of the console.

I installed this in the USB power port on my 2019 Subaru Impreza. It's just the right amount of brightness (it looks a bit brighter in the photo than it really is) and its placement makes it perfect for adding some light to the console area. I have the red one so I don't mess up my night vision. Works well, good light for little money. There were two in the kit, I will most likely put the second one in our Outback, it has the same spot.

Backlight almost 0

The thing is just not good. i have white light Light is only emitted to an area of 6 inches in front. Not to mention that the assembly is short. So if you're using it in your car and it has USB port covers, when you lift the cover and turn on the light, the cover lowers and covers most of the small light it puts out. . You could just use this thing in a USB slot on an outlet or something for a night light, but I doubt that would be useful at all. This thing should be longer, about half the…
