Fellowes 55-Piece Comprehensive Computer System Toolkit (49106) Review

Not used yet. I have to say it's really huge. I didn't expect something too big to fit in a laptop bag. Many things are of dubious utility for a zip kit. I'll probably take parts from this and swap them out for things from another smaller set I have.

I use this toolbox all the time at work and rarely have to reach for something that isn't in the box. I got the same set for Christmas and couldn't be happier. The kit is pretty complete, especially for computer repair, and I haven't broken a single part yet. The only problem is a small, weak flashlight, but I didn't get a star for that because my work space is well lit and I already have a couple of good flashlights, so I'll never use them. So five stars for this wonderful little set!

Fellowes 55 Piece Computer Tool Set Black (49106) For so much money I expected the accessories to fit in the wrench but the first time they just all slipped out the Philips bit fell and hit the motherboard. When I tried to use the flash, the switch didn't work, so the only way to turn it on and off is to take out the battery, the needle nose pliers don't open and close smoothly and have to be opened forcefully. and closes despite the spring preload. Very disappointing and not recommended.

I have looked at and used many computer repair tool kits. This was the best kit I have ever used. It has the most useful tools in a nice compact design and at a great price. Precision screwdrivers have heads that are too fragile, while precision screwdrivers don't. Additionally, the included flash is virtually useless for computer repair. as it does NOT have enough power to be used in a computer case. I recommend getting a super bright LED flash to use inside the case when the room isn't 100%…

I had a long argument about the tool set. This one was perfect: it had the tools I needed and NO soldering iron. Any hardware you get in a kit like this is doomed to fail. These tools are good quality for the price and have everything you need for computer repair. I cut the cables for my computers myself and this kit is exactly what I need. Observations: - The flashlight was not the one shown and the double "AA" batteries were missing, instead there was a very cheap version of the flashlight that uses tiny batteries, I believe they are called lithium. don't know how they come up with the quantity of 55 pieces. The description was very difficult to understand which made it very difficult to keep track of the number of items and their total. I have to say that the counting of things like "disposable", "zip ties" and "cleaning wipes"
