I love this track! It resembles a cloth, but protects the table from hot objects and water. I bought this to put on the coffee table in my living room where I have a lot of plants that need frequent watering. Not only does it protect the table from plant water, but when friends come over, we no longer need coasters. It also looks great on the dining table. What a great idea!

When we took it out of the box I was surprised at how thin it is. In fact, it's not very significant at all, and I'm afraid to put something very hot on it. But at our first meal with him, my wife put down her black cast-iron kettle. There was a black spot that we couldn't completely remove. It's more of a gray area now.
