Quality Wire

This is standard high voltage insulated aluminum wire suitable for commercial electric fence chargers. It is best used underground, under gates and outside of a building from a battery charger to regular bare electric fence wire. excellent rating!

Pros
  • 1 piece
Cons
  • Insecure

Good insulation for high voltage, forget how soft and brittle aluminum wire is. This is great for quiet placement, but with long ends you're likely to break the connection point at least once. If your application requires multiple connections and reconnections, I would spend the extra money and go with copper.

Pros
  • Can be laid under the goal or under water as a supply line.
Cons
  • weak

As others have pointed out, the core of this cable is soft and brittle. It is ideally suited for what it was designed for, which is to carry a high voltage, low current circuit underground. To be more precise, under the gate in the electric fence. It has a very thick shell that protects the shorts from high voltage. This cable has made my fence gate a lot easier. Instead of trying to find a way to connect and disconnect the fence at the gate, I just lengthen the wire, run it underground through

Pros
  • It has a robust casing and is rated for high voltage (40,000 volts) without loss of performance.
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
