Fiesta Thermal Cotton Blanket Twin Review

I was trying to replace an old "hospital" blanket that I had for many years. In comparison, this one is thinner, flimsy and feels cheap. Edges frayed on first wash. I tumble dried it for less than 10 minutes and then hung it to dry to reduce shrinkage. Even after hanging it out to dry overnight, it was covered in lint. I have no idea how this blanket got so many good reviews.

I have some thin cotton comforters on other beds in my house. My son just got a new big boy bed and wanted a light colored comforter. It was the only bright red cotton blanket I could find. I always wash bed linens before using them and I was dismayed and amazed to find that the duvet looks dirty and old and has pellets all over it after just one wash. perfect. Lots of softness, good weight with good drape, open weave for airflow, not too "hollow" like some cheaper ones I've tried. It may sound silly, but this is one of my favorite Revain purchases. I use it every night and it's so handy!
