This bag is huge. I love the craftsmanship but I'm only 5ft 4in and it's so awkward and uncomfortable to carry around. This is a very good bag but it really is for someone taller and taller than me. I would have sent it back for a refund but I threw away the tags.

I like this bag but it needs a bit of tweaking. The twill and leather are stiff when new, making the bag easy to slip off the shoulder and sometimes difficult to zip and unpack. If the skin is broken, it will be much better.

After looking at several other portfolios in this style from other manufacturers, I finally broke down and bought one from Filson. This style is timeless and I get compliments every time I meet. It has enough space for my iPad and laptop.

I'm a bag lover, I have Ghurka, Levenger, Saddleback, Tumi, Samsonite, Under Armor, Nike, Patagonia. Each bag has its own qualities, but the Filson bag is by far the best. It's spacious, fairly light, of good quality and has a sharp look. The price was fantastic and the bag came quicker than expected!
