These tip protectors are great! Thanks to gel nails I ruined and lost through nails three nails. They provide protection for my exposed nail plates (good and ugly!). Can also be used to cover vine covered toes when treating toenail fungus. I haven't figured out how to wash them but I think some warm soapy water and a good air dryer will do the trick. My husband had a couple of cracked fingertips after construction work in the winter. Using it protected his fingertips and allowed them to heal in just a few days. He used bandages, but they didn't hold up well. They stayed in place, and if they curled up, they could easily be rolled back.
