Just bought this case for my iPad mini 5 and was not disappointed. The case fits perfectly all over the body, feels great. I have no problems with the volume and power buttons. The headphone jack looks like it's blocked by the footage in the picture, as if it might have problems connecting headphones. Yes, probably not too much protection so if you have small children fiddling with your iPad I would go with something stronger - if no then I recommend a nice one and smooth

I really like the case and when I had a problem (iPad won't turn on and off with the cover) they responded with a quick fix . I have not activated the wake up/sleep option in the settings. Thanks very much!

Couldn't figure out how to make it stand on its own at first but eventually figured it out. I have an iPad mini 4 and it fits perfectly. I also love the color and how durable it is if I care for it. My new favorite thing to do is prop it up in the bathroom while I shower to watch TV shows and movies!
