My LO likes it very much - a great musical toy!

I bought this toy for my daughter who is 6 months old and she loves it - she still plays with it when she is 1 year old. The mirror is mesmerizing and perfect for any child who loves music or loud toys. A word of caution - it's hard plastic - if they smack their faces it could be traumatic to them. But no real harm was done, she learned to be gentle and not pat like some of her other toys. As for cleaning, I rinsed it in the sink and it air dries with no problem.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Great toy for kids, look for it in the set!

It is difficult to see in the main photo, but in the middle part of the tambourine there is a mirror so that the baby can see himself. My 1 year old plays with it all the time and it keeps her from running around grabbing and shaking other things she shouldn't be doing. Good for the child and for the parents! It also comes in a set with a maracas and some other items and can be cheaper in this set so be sure to check out other Fisher Price musical instruments before buying this one.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are nuances

Great toy for my 1 year old

Great toy for my 1 year old. My niece who is 10 has an actual tambourine and my son always has fun and fights with her for it. So I got my own. I use different colors to my advantage to teach him colors. The mirror is a nice touch too, Lil was skeptical at first but it's not glass but some other unbreakable material. I really can't stand the sound of a tambourine for long and that's the best thing about this instrument for me. It doesn't make much noise at all. Doesn't sound like much, but it…
