This coat is VERY poorly made. My son wore it 3-4 times and it started to unravel at the seams. We live in California and it almost never rains so this piece has barely been worn (still smells new and has creases from shipping!) when both sleeves started to separate from the body of the coat. Not because it was too small for him and he tore it up with a flick of his arm. He's 8 and I bought a 7-8 and it was still pretty big for him; I had to roll up my sleeves a bit. Purchased size 14/16 (green) for my 12 year old granddaughter who is very slim and fits her. And she has room to grow. Very nice raincoat. Nice color, durable material. Not easy for very windy days. I love that the hood is attached and the buttons on the front extend past the neck so only the face is visible so a heavy downpour will keep them completely dry. Bought this blue raincoat for my 10 year old brother who is a bit husky and fits him too. It hasn't started raining in Southern California
