1000 Ft. Underground Double Jacket Waterproof Outdoor Burial UTP Ethernet Lan Cable - Black by Five Star Cable Review

I bought 2 reels of this 1000ft cable. After installation I could not get only 2 out of 8 IP cameras to work. After working with it for 2 days, I used the cable tester on the cables. I found 6 open wires. I've replaced the RJ45 connectors on both ends and know they were installed correctly because I used the pass-through type. Came to find out I had to order more cables and replace all of them. 2 days of work turned into 5 days due to a defective cable.

I can't believe the reviews above. But I think so because I bought 1,000 feet of this junk. I installed it very carefully and after a week it didn't send, we had it in a 4 inch ditch and it still didn't send. We had to replace it with a heavier cable. Very very disappointed with this purchase.

Very strong body, still fits standard ferrules. It's a bit stiffer than the blue light isolated type, so don't expect it to be as flexible. It's great for long runs in rougher conditions, like underground, where someone might "accidentally" step on it or get wet. I've seen a lot of blue indoor cables wear out, bend around joists etc and get cut. This is a big improvement in durability.
